An eccentric main driving shaft facilitates an elliptical to-and-fro motion in the jaw stock. The adjustable discharge opening allows control over the size of the final product via a control lever. To ensure consistent operation, two substantial cast iron flywheels are included. The drive can be arranged either directly through the flywheels or via a suitable pulley system.
