Shri Krishna Tray Dryer

Shri Krishna Tray Dryer

A tray or Compartment Dryer is an enclosed insulated chamber in which trays are placed on top of each other in trolleys. The material to be dried either wet or solids are placed in the tray. Heat transfer is done by circulation of hot air by electric heaters in radiator coils. Blower fans are installed inside to ensure proper circulation and transfer of heat. A control panel to control the temperature and other parameters is fixed outside the dryer. There is also arrangement of digital temperature controller.

These dryers available in mild Steel, Stainless Steel or Al construction. They are used for

  • Pigments
  • food
  • Bakery
  • Electrodes
  • Chemical
  • Plastic Powders

Shri Krishna Rotary Dryer (Scraper)

Used for converting molten Slurries into dried solid flakes. In the rotary dryers material is fed into a feed hopper which directs the materials on the face of rotating drum. The drum is heated or cooled depending on the application to enable the material to cling to the outside of the drum. The material is dried during the rotation of the drum and is removed by a blade or scrapper mounted along the length of the roll.

Materials processed in the drum dryer are:

  • Caustic Soda
  • Resins
  • Waxes
  • Fatty Acids
  • Guar Gum
  • Sulphur Dyes.
Basic Machine
  • Unit frame of welded carbon Steel
  • Heavy mass and low-vibration frame
  • Optional aspiration on top of the machine
  • Scraper system adjustable which is located on the exterior of the unit
  • rolls are removed from the from the front to the unit
  • Dismounting of the roll bearings made easier using a hydraulic dismounting aid.
  • Differential side V-belts and pulleys with guard located for easy of access and maintenance.
Optional overflow system
  • Recycle of un-flaked material can be accomplished with built in screw conveyors or customer provided system.
  • Allows products to cover the entire length of the rolls.
Benefits of the overflow system
  • Higher throughput
  • The risk of damage to the roll ends in minimized
  • Roll end re-grinding significantly reduced, thus lowering maintenance cost.
